Further phased construction of new berths and marina facilities will take place over the next 18 months with a target completion date of Spring 2009. The marina and its surroundings will provide visitors with a selection of luxury restaurants, bars and duty free boutiques, as well as a health spa, tropical gardens and an aviary.
Port Louis - GrenadaOffering magnificent views of the historic fort and the restored Georgian buildings of St. George’s, Port Louis is the perfect base for exploring the Windward Islands on the water and discovering the magic of Grenada ashore. The local cruising area is world famous with inlets, bays and beaches all around the island and other Caribbean destinations less than a day’s sail away. Lying in the lagoon immediately south of the island’s capital, this Port of Entry marina currently operates 50 fully serviced berths, including a dozen for superyachts up to 100m. Out on the water, there is scuba-diving and snorkelling on the historic wrecks and beautiful coral reefs with their abundant marine life. Ashore, Grenada is famous for its local spices, fruits and sweet-scented bougainvillea all growing wild. The island offers many natural and cultural highlights, and no visit is complete without a trip to the tropical rain forest of Grand Etang National Park. |
With phase one of the development nearing completion, the marina currently operates 50 fully serviced berths, including up to a dozen for superyachts up to 100m in length. The vibrant and historic town of St George’s is a stone’s throw to the north. To the east is The Carenage with its exotic waterfront adjoining the natural lagoon, and to the west and south lie the white sandy shores of Pandy and Grand Anse beaches.
